We at SGI Cat Allies, Inc., are thrilled to announce the receipt of our IRS declaration as a fully qualified 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt public charity! Contributions to SGI Cat Allies are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law and retroactive to August 2014. We will use your contributions helping to humanely eliminate unwanted litters through Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return. We are dedicated to continue improving the lives of the free-roaming cat population on St. George Island through sterilization, vaccination and return, our goal is to expand our operation to Apalachicola and surrounding areas. Because we are a 100% volunteer organization, donations are our only source of income. Thank you Bowery Station!! Once again our friends at BS have stepped up to help a local charity, SGI Cat Allies, donating proceeds from the sale of Italian sausage at their Italian celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Matt and Lisa are so much a part of Apalachicola, it’s hard to remember Apalach without them.

Operation Catnip partnered with local and national animal welfare groups to perform spay/neuter surgeries and deliver lifesaving vaccines to 102 community cats from St. George Island, Florida. Take a fun look at this special event with a time-lapse view of the prep area.
