The vision for SGI Cat Allies began when we three cat guardians, Helen Gore and Cathy Buell and June Crawford, started working together to help the community cats and humans live together in harmony on the beautiful St George Island in Franklin County Florida. We saw a need for and had a vision to create an organization, SGI Cat Allies, to guide us on that journey. Since that November 2013 inception, we have organized and mobilized, helping nearly 200 cats in our first year and becoming registered with the IRS as an official 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We continue to work diligently to fulfill our mission to become the best TNVR organization we can dream of being. Please join us!

June Crawford
June owns and operates a busy, rewarding and successful pet sitting business in Aiken SC, Aiken Pet Sitters. June has been coming to SGI for years and has always wanted to help the community cat population she has come to know and love on this beautiful island. June grew up with pets and a deep love of all animals, and has never been long without one or more pets at home. Today she is crazy in love with her small pride of rescued to forever-home yellow cats; one she rescued and adopted in Aiken and two yellow cat Gents who came to her from our TNR efforts on SGI.
